Chex Mix and Deviled Eggs

Image
I am not working outside of the home right now, so my husband and I are trying to save money. We used to eat out or bring home take-out four or five days a week! Now we are cooking more at home and limiting that unhealthy fast food to only three or four times a month. Which of course doesn't just save money. We're eating healthier too! So besides cooking just meals, I'm trying to cut back the prepackaged snacks from the grocery store as well. That's where this blog post comes in. Today is all about two foods I absolutely love. So what are they?      Chex mix and deviled eggs of course! I love a good homemade chex mix, and so do my parents. So that's what I'm making today. Plus a bonus! I'm also making deviled eggs for a potluck at my husband's job. Don't worry though, I'm making enough so I can have some too! So let's get started with the chex mix first.      I'm not following any particular recipe because I haven't found one tha...

Just a little something for the antique booth

Happy Friday! Well, you may not be reading this on a Friday, but I hope you have a great day nonetheless! Today I want to share with you one of my hobbies and creative outlets. I have an antique booth at a local antique mall. It's actually a huge mall! But my booth is relatively small at 9ft x 10ft. However, it used to be even smaller before I upgraded booths. It was only 6ft x 3ft. But no matter the size, it's been a lot of fun sourcing, pricing and displaying the items for the booth. I don't make a lot of money doing it. Believe me, I wish it was a real money maker, but some months I actually lose money, so it's definitely in the hobby realm right now. I just enjoy it so much, I can't imagine giving it up. Here's a look inside.      It's always evolving and changing with the seasons. If you want to see me post more about my booth, let me know in the comments below. I also like to throw in a few crafts and DIY's too. So here's a look at my late...

I'm back!

Hi everyone, I’m back after a long hiatus. I’ve been working a ton, but some things have changed, and I have a little more time on my hands to pursue my interests again! I have learned how to make yogurt and bread, with the help of some handy dandy appliances. I’d really like to learn how to make these items without fancy appliances. So, stay tuned while I stumble my way through it. I still have a balcony garden, although a bit smaller this year since I wasn’t sure at first how much I’d be home this summer. I’ve also been working hard on my YouTube channel, so if you want to check that out, I’ll post the link here. https://www.youtube.com/@momnmecraft      Anyway, thanks for sticking around, and I look forward to the future! 😃
